Yelp Elite 2011

So, after a year of yelping.... I FINALLY GOT MY ELITE BADGE + I got ROTD (review of the day;my 2nd one)!  This gives me an incentive to try out new places!

I'm starting this blog because I want to document new finds, fashion, and just write nonsense. :)  Some of my interests are sports, make up, food, fashion and staying fit.
So, here goes:

Although, I love the Steelers, Rodgers was def. MVP this season (in my eyes). So, football season ends... but I can't wait for baseball (DODGERS) and nba finals (PURP AND YELLOW)!! :)

FITNESS: I frequent 24 hour fitness for both cardio and strength training.  I also signed up for a free virtual trainer on  It shows you different routines; toning of the arms or legs, which ever you need some assistance on.  I yoyo diet so much it's so frustrating! It's really hard when you LOVE food, you can't

resist! I lived in LA for 2 years and I really regret not going on many food adventures.  OC doesn't have many choices, esp where I live.  :( But one of my favorite gem is SOOWON GAL BI.  They serve the highest grade of meat and their side dishes are SO- good.
Ok, I was mouthing off on fitness and now I'm talking about food! >_<

So I pretty much do 45-60 mins of cardio: stairmaster, treadmill, or elliptical.  Strength training for another 30-45 minutes.  My bf, Jon, tells me I should work out one-two parts of the body each day (traps and shoulders).  But I just do a bunch of variety routines.  The one thing I do everyday is lunges.  You only need a pair of dumbbells! ALWAYS, AlWAYS: DRINK ICE COLD WATER. It makes your body work to warm up the fluids.  Never drink sports drinks that have X amnt of cals.  I went to target yesterday and bought a new drink called SKINNY. They are $10/10 right now! I also bought SILK lite chocolate milk (90 cals./serving); it is a great post workout drink.

The best finds for gym clothes are at TJ MAXX. I probably dropped about $150 and got 8-10 pants and 3 tops.  They fit like a glove and I received many compliments! They also carry name brand balance balls, dumbbells, yoga mats, kettle balls, etc!

What I love about my Iphone is the apps! they have an app called MyFitnessPal.  You log what you eat and all the physical activities you  have done in a day.  My goal is to eat 1,200 cals/day and hopefully i'll shed some pounds while on a strict diet and exercise.

FOOD:  Jon and I are going to The Bazaar this Sunday to celebrate Valentine's day.  I'm super excited because I've hear many raves about this establishment.  I will take many pictures to capture our intimate dinner.

We recently took a trip to Vegas and I was pretty bummed because I didn't enjoy much of the food that weekend.  The only thing I liked was the Pistachio Macaron from Bouchon Bakery in the Venetian.
Isn't it the cutest thing you've ever seen?! YOU need to try it! These macarons are def. bigger than usual.
Ok, well this post was extremely long. I'll leave it at that!
